The all-new 2018 Eclipse Cross is a fusion of sharp coupe looks and dynamic SUV mobility with signature Mitsubishi styling, technology and driving confidence. It joins the formidable line-up of the other popular Mitsubishi SUVs like the legendary Pajero, Montero Sport, Outlander and the ASX.

A test drive was recently held at Dubai Autodrome for members of the motoring media, exclusive guests and automobile enthusiasts who put the all-new 2018 Eclipse Cross through its paces.

Al Habtoor Motors, Mitsubishi’s official distributor in the UAE unveiled Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross – the much awaited compact crossover during this year’s Dubai Motor Show which took place from 14th to 18th November 2017. The highly-anticipated biennial motoring event in the Middle East featured more than 150 automotive manufacturers from around the world. The five day event was attended by over 108,000 visitors from over 77 countries.

Located in Hall No. 3, Al Habtoor Motors’ Stand No. 300 attracted the attention of the motoring aficionados with Mitsubishi’s new entrant. Dynamic, innovative and distinctive, the all new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is a fusion of sharp coupe looks and dynamic SUV mobility with signature Mitsubishi styling and performance. Powered by a direct-injection downsize turbo engine that provides superior fuel efficiency and rich torque, equivalent to a 2.4L engine. Boasting a S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) system and high rigid body, the new compact SUV is built for rough roads and other challenging conditions while letting drivers stay in confident control with agility and quick response. The Eclipse Cross promises a new realm of driving pleasure.  The Eclipse Cross will be available in the UAE from the beginning of 2018.

Al Habtoor Motors Mitsubishi stand also had the other popular Mitsubishi SUVs like the legendary Pajero 3.8 & 3.5 versions, Outlander, ASX and Montero Sport. Additionally, the popular Mitsubishi cars like the Lancer GT & EX, Mirage and Attrage were on display at the stand.

Al Habtoor Motors Mitsubishi awarded the best value for money car brand at The Filipino Times Awards 2017

Al Habtoor Motors Mitsubishi has earned yet another prestigious accolade as the popular Japanese vehicle brand has been awarded the “Best Value for Money” car brand by Filipino Times.

Voted by the Filipino community in the UAE, the award was received by C. V. Ravin, General Manager, Al Habtoor Motors Mitsubishi during the annual event that was held at JW Marriot Marquis, Business Bay on 11th August 2017.

Al Habtoor Motors joins hands with Dubai Economy to launch ‘Consumer Happiness Counters’

Al Habtoor Motors, in co-operation with the Dubai Economy, has opened ‘Consumer Happiness Counter’ at the Mitsubishi showroom on Sheikh Zayed Road. The initiative is meant to provide an improved buying experience and as an outlet for customers to have their concerns and grievances addressed quickly and efficiently.

Al Habtoor Motors’ Dubai showrooms and workshops for Bentley, Bugatti, Mclaren, FUSO, Chery and JAC, in addition to Mitsubishi, will all have the Consumer Happiness Counters.

The Counters form part of the larger initiative of Al Habtoor Motors as well as Dubai Economy’s strategic goal to improve customer care across the emirate.

Mitsubishi Pajero – King of the Road for 35 years

Over the past three and half decades, one SUV has seen growing popularity in the automotive sector, particularly in the SUV category – The Mitsubishi Pajero. The rugged, stylish and dependable Pajero was brought to the UAE by Al Habtoor Motors, the official dealer of Mitsubishi.
The first Pajero prototype was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show in November 1973. The Pajero II prototype followed in 1978, five years later. Al Habtoor Motors launches a multi faceted Mitsubishi showroom complex in Al Ain!

The new state-of-the-art complex features Mitsubishi passenger vehicles and hosts a dedicated After-sales facility  for both, passenger and commercial vehicles. 

To meet the growing demand of Mitsubishi customers in Al Ain, Al Habtoor Motors has launched its latest state-of-the-art Mitsubishi showroom and After-sales complex.  The launch of the new facility coincides with Al Habtoor Motors’  vision to expand its presence in the United Arab Emirates, especially in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Recently, Al Habtoor Motors commissioned the world’s largest Mitsubishi showroom spanning a built up area of 235,000-square-foot in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

With addition of the new 121,169-square-foot facility in the industrial hub of Al Ain, Al Habtoor Motors plans to cover all bases in the Abu Dhabi market.

Al Habtoor Motors, the official dealer of Mitsubishi in the UAE unveiled the all-new Montero Sport to specially invited audience at a Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, where the invitees test drove the Montero Sport over the challenging terrain to gain in-depth understanding of the new class leading SUV.
The all-new Montero Sport is a new-generation mid-size SUV developed to a “Stylish & Comfortable Off-road SUV” concept. A full-feature off-road SUV that brings with it a refined and high-quality exterior design, high-quality vehicle performance and a comfortable interior, environmental performance on a par with the best in its class, and a comprehensive advanced safety features.
When it come to looks, the all-new Montero Sport uses MMC’s new “Dynamic Shield” front face design concept. The high-quality stylish design uses both sporty and dynamic elements to set it apart from conventional cross-country SUVs. The interior uses a high console proportion dashboard, as befits a larger SUV, while dynamically styled silver-finish ornamentation and sculpted seats add to its luxurious feel.
Powered by a robust 3.0-liter V6 MIVEC engine, the Montero Sport boasts a 8-speed automatic transmission for a smoother, more luxurious ride and improved fuel efficiency. The cruise control and sporty paddle shifters which lets driver to shift gears with a press, without removing their hand from the steering wheel adds to the driving comfort.
The all-new Montero Sport comes with a very comprehensive active and passive safety features. MMC’s own RISE*3 impact safety body design and a total of seven SRS airbags provide occupants with outstanding passive safety.
Active safety features include Forward Collision Mitigation system (FCM), the Blind Spot Warning system (BSW, a first in a Mitsubishi model) and the Ultrasonic misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS). In addition the all-new Montero Sport is fitted with many advanced features which go well beyond what normally found in this class such as an electric parking brake (first on a Mitsubishi model), a Multi-around Monitor and fully automatic climate control allowing different temperatures to be set for driver and front seat passenger.
The all-new Monetro Sport uses a further-evolved version of MMC’s own Super-Select 4WD-II four-wheel drive system. This is complemented by the new Off-road Mode (first on a Mitsubishi model), which gives even better all-terrain performance and stability as the road surface requires, and by Hill Descent Control (first on a Mitsubishi model). Pressing the HDC mode selector activates HDC, which automatically applies the brakes to maintain your current speed when travelling downhill at 2 ~ 20km/h. This lets you concentrate on steering and travel downhill with greater safety without having to manually apply the brakes.
Handling is stable and accurate on and off road, in all kinds of weather and driving conditions, thanks to selectable 2WD and 4WD modes, an OFF ROAD MODE, intelligent assistance in challenging conditions, an advanced suspension and outstanding all-around clearance.
Using the drive mode selector dial, the driver can switch between 2WD (2H) and 4WD (4H, 4HLc) with shift-on-the-fly convenience at up to 100km/h. When the going gets rough, lock the center differential by entering the 4HLc setting for rugged terrain or the 4LLc setting for inclines, mud and sand.
Furthermore, Active Stability & Traction Control independently regulates braking force to the wheels during cornering to help maintain excellent vehicle stability when needed. It also optimizes traction to prevent loss of torque whenever wheel spin is detected by controlling engine output and applying brake force to the spinning wheels.
Adding to its manoeuvrability, the Montero Sport offers a class-leading 5.6m turning radius, which is surprisingly small for a vehicle of this size, making it especially easy to park and drive.
On the outside, the sophisticated LED headlamps and daytime running lights contribute to an appealing, high-quality personality. The Montero Sport’s dynamic LED rear combination lamps boldly proclaim this is no ordinary SUV.
The prices of the all-new Montero Sport start from AED 89,900 for baseline to AED 107,900 for the fully loaded premium highline.

Al Habtoor Motors opens Technical & Training Center

The new center ensures enhanced technical product knowledge for both AHM employees as well as its customers.
In keeping with its vision and mission to build on its continued success and ongoing business growth, Al Habtoor Motors has always focused on shaping a fully qualified team to handle the operations. As part of its ongoing efforts to ensure all employees get the latest technical updates, Al Habtoor Motors has opened a new Technical & Training Center housing better facilities in terms of space and equipment for delivering complete training to AHM employees.
The new center also aims to update and train Fleet Users to ensure their vehicles run in the most efficient and economical way, as AHM customers are business partners and not just customers.
The employees and fleet users will be trained in TRIO business satisfactory link – The Customer: by providing best solutions to his/her satisfaction, The Company: by achieving the targets set by Chairman, and The Employees: by ensuring they work with passion and motivation to be the best in class.
The Technical & Training Center meets the training needs of various department. It further senses and analyses the employee’s needs and delivers training accordingly.

The new center will conduct a special program (Parts Components) during which parts employees will have a better understanding of construction, function and failure of spare parts they are dealing with.
