Recall Campaign for Improper Software of ASC-ECU for Mitsubishi ASX, Outlander and Eclipse Cross & Improper Software of FCM/LDW on Outlander and Eclipse Cross
In coordination with the Competition & Consumer Protection Department in the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor Motors announces a Recall Campaign for a limited number of Mitsubishi ASX, Outlander and Eclipse Cross vehicles with the below details which will be effective immediately.

Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, have released the following statement:
"We regret to inform that
(a) Due to improper software of ASC-ECU, electrical noise may be generated when the motor pump is activated, causing incorrect IC operation, which results in ECU reset.
(b) Due to improper software of FCM/LDW (Lane departure warning)/AHB (Auto high beam)-ECU, FCM moderate braking continues even after a pedestrian or object are out of detection."
All repairs related to this recall campaign will be completed free of charge to the customer.
(a) A total of 903 Mitsubishi ASX, Outlander and Eclipse Cross vehicles, Model Code (GA0W), (GF0W) and (GK0W) are affected in Dubai/Northern Emirates/Abu Dhabi/Al Ain manufactured between January 2017 and October 2018.
(b) A total of 201 Mitsubishi Outlander and Eclipse Cross vehicles, Model Code (GF0W) and (GK0W) are affected in Dubai/Northern Emirates/Abu Dhabi/Al Ain manufactured between January 2017 and October 2018
No other vehicles are affected.
In the interests of delivering the highest
standards of Mitsubishi quality and customer
care, Al Habtoor Motors LLC (Dubai, Northern
Emirates, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain) will contact all
customers with affected models to arrange
for repairs to be made.
