Recall Campaign for Certain 2023 Model Year Mitsubishi Outlander GM4W

In coordination with the Consumer Protection and Commercial Control Department, Ministry of Economy, and in line with its commitment to conduct an ongoing review of all products in the UAE and provide consumers with the required protection, Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC announces this recall campaign.

Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) in the UAE, announces the launch of a recall campaign for a number of 2023 Mitsubishi Outlander (GM4W) SUVs manufactured in Japan.

Check if your vehicle is affected

Your VIN can usually be found on the vehicle registration card or at the bottom of the windscreen.

Use 17 letters and numbers. VINs do not contain I, O or Q.

In affected vehicles, the Arabic language is not displayed due to a setting error in the combination meter control program on Outlander Model Year 2023 vehicles equipped with a 7.0-inch multi-information display. This defect has no functional impact on the vehicle.

It is expected that this recall campaign will include 808 units in the United Arab Emirates.

In the interest of delivering the highest standards of MMC quality and customer care, Al Habtoor Motors LLC will contact affected customers to inform them about this recall and request that they bring their vehicles in for the necessary rectification.

The recall action to modify the combination meter software of the Mitsubishi Outlander will be completed free of charge.

Every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out.
