Recall Campaign for Potential Breakage of Right Hand Side - Front Lower Arm on Pajero 17 MY - 18 MY

In coordination with the Competition & Consumer Protection Department of the Ministry of Economy, Al Habtoor Motors announces a Recall Campaign for a limited number of Mitsubishi Pajero vehicles with the below details which will be effective immediately.

United Arab Emirates, Dubai, 12.07.20.

Al Habtoor Motors Co. LLC, the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in the UAE, has released the following statement:

We regret to inform that

(a) Due to improper welding process, the right hand side - front lower arm with insufficient welding was installed on the vehicles and may break during the use of the vehicle.

All repairs related to this recall campaign will be completed free of charge for the customer.

(a) A total of 11,048 Mitsubishi Pajero SUVs of model year 17 MY - 18 MY with Model Codes V85W/V87W/V93W/V95W/V97W are affected in Dubai/Northern Emirates/Abu Dhabi/Al Ain.

No other vehicles are affected.

In the interest of delivering the highest standards of Mitsubishi quality and customer care, Al Habtoor Motors LLC (Dubai, Northern Emirates, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain) will contact all customers with the affected models to arrange for the repairs to be carried out.
