ALL EMIRATES ANNOUNCEMENT
RECALL CAMPAIGN FOR 2024-2025 FUSO TF CANTER

In Coordination with Consumer Protection and Commercial Control department, Ministry of Economy, and in line with its commitment to conduct an ongoing review of all products in the UAE and provide the consumer with the required protection, Al Habtoor Motors Co. L.L.C., the official distributor of Mitsubishi FUSO Truck and Bus Corporation in the UAE, announces the launch of a recall campaign for a number of 2024- 2025 FUSO TF Canter.

Due to limitations in the Single Signal detect and Actuation Module (SSAM) software, the Clock Monitoring Unit (CMU) frequency and synchronization checks are overly sensitive. This results in false error detections and unintended SSAM resets. In the worst-case scenario, this may cause the headlamps, tail lamps, turn lamps, and wipers to shut off while the vehicle is in motion.

It is expected that this recall campaign will include 2,390 units in the United Arab Emirates.

In the interest of delivering the highest standards of FUSO quality and customer care, Al Habtoor Motors Co. L.L.C. will begin contacting the affected customers to inform them about this recall campaign and request that they bring in their vehicles for the necessary rectification.

The recall action to reprogram new software Single Signal detect and Actuation Module (SSAM) by Daimler Truck Diagnostic (DTD) Tools, will be free of charge.

Every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out.

For further clarification, customers are requested to contact Al Habtoor Motors Customer Care Centre on 800 254 228 667 from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Sunday, or email crm@habtoormotors.com
