This recall is being initiated due to excessive stress applied on the high-pressure fuel pipes, caused by a combination of vibrations and surface abnormalities. As a result, the high-pressure fuel pipes may crack at the bend-regions, and in the worst case it led to fuel leakage from fuel pipes.

It is expected that this recall campaign will include 24 units in the United Arab Emirates.

In the interest of delivering the highest standards of FUSO quality and customer care, Al Habtoor Motors Co. L.L.C. will begin contacting the affected customers to inform them about this recall campaign and request that they bring in their vehicles for the necessary rectification.

The recall action to replace high pressure fuel pipes with countermeasure parts will be free of charge.

Every effort will be made to minimise any inconvenience caused during the short time required for the work to be carried out.
