The affected vehicles and issues are as follows:
1. FUSO FI (Suspension Bracket Replacement) -
Due to forging mark in bracket leading to
improper seating of bracket; suspension bracket
has to be changed for better torque retention.
2. FUSOFI (Propeller Shaft Fasteners Replacement)
- Due to sedimentation of high viscous rust
preventive oil in serrated mounting flange &
paint accumulation at fasteners seating
area; propeller shaft fasteners have to be
replaced.
3. FUSO FJ (Alternator Replacement) - Due to
internal defect on regulator used in alternator,
the alternator assembly with mono function
regulator has to be replaced.
4. FUSO FA/FI (Weather Strip Reorientation) Due
to wrong orientation of weather strip position;
therefore, reorientation of weather strip position
has to be done.
It is expected that this recall campaign will
include (110) trucks in the United Arab Emirates
and all the recall jobs mentioned here will be
done free of charge to the customers.
In the interest of delivering the highest standards
of MFTBC quality and customer care, Al Habtoor
Motors Co LLC will begin contacting the affected
customers to inform them about this recall and
request them to bring in their vehicles for repairs.
Every effort will be made to minimize any
inconvenience caused during the short time
required for the work to be carried out.
