Al Habtoor Group collaborates with Road & Transport Authority to open SpeedFit Vehicle Testing Centre
After its success in the automotive sector for nearly three decades as the dealer of some of the world’s most popular and prestigious automobile brands, Al Habtoor Group has tied up with Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Dubai, to open SpeedFit Vehicle Testing Centre (SVTC) at Umm Ramool, Dubai. Mr. Ahmed Al Habtoor, CEO of Al Habtoor Motors, Mr. Ahmed Bahrozyan, Dubai Licensing CEO, Mr. Neil Coolledge, General Manager of SpeedFit and Head of Tires & Batteries Division along with multiple RTA delegates attended the inauguration of the first SpeedFit Vehicle Testing Centre in the UAE on Sunday, 4th May 2014. Mr. Neil Coolledge, General Manager of SpeedFit and Head of Tires & Batteries Division said “We are proud to inaugurate the first SpeedFit Vehicle Testing Centre in the UAE. Neil Coolledge, GM of Speedfit and Head of Tires and Batteries Division added “With our working schedule of 7 am to 10 pm, Saturday to Thursday, the customers can have the advantage of convenient service hours ensuring a quick turnaround time.” The centre now has 2 lanes with a capacity to service up to 175 vehicles per day. Within midyear it will expand to 4 lanes with capacity of 350 vehicles/day.
